JCHS new website provides a modern way to share the rich history of Jackson County include access to many of our historical resources. This is an exciting development which we will continue to improve and augment.
Stephenson's Restaurant, a local landmark restaurant closed in February 2007, but JCHS accepted donation of the familiar neon sign from family members in February 2012. The sign is resting in storage, awaiting renovation and an appropriate place where it will be re-installed and be a fitting reminder of an earlier era of classic dining..
